Workshop Proposals

Call for Proposals

This year we are excited to announce that we will also hold an open call for interactive workshop proposals. The submission deadline is January 26th at midnight. Please see below for further details.

Date: Thursday, July 11, 2024

Duration: 2 hours (workshops are delivered 2x throughout the conference – AM and PM)

Delivery: Online or In-person

The McMaster Conference on Education and Cognition welcomes all educators, staff or learning specialists to submit a proposal for a highly interactive, engaging workshop. Workshops should foster multidisciplinary collaborative learning and discussion of ideas. Please review the submission criteria carefully prior to submission.

Submission Criteria

Author(s)

Proposals should be submitted by the corresponding author. All authors or co-authors should be listed in the submission form.

Organization(s)

List the organization and affiliation of each author listed in the proposal.

Title of Contribution

Provide the title of the proposal.

Keywords

Provide up to three keywords related to your workshop topic.

Format

Online or In Person

Abstract (Max 300 words)

Include importance of topic to teaching and learning, appropriate literature, and learning outcomes of the session. Workshop proposals must include a description of element(s) of engagement.
